My Living Room Tour |

I’m always switching up my space, and I wanted to document my living room because it feels like it’s finally done. I’ve been designing my living room for a while, and just needed a few final pieces like a new credenza and lamp to finish it off. It feels SO good to be completed, so I wanted to share a little tour of the space!

I’m all about keeping the space minimal and clean, so I added this handmade basket to store throw blankets and things that I want to tuck away. The lid makes it so easy to hide things away!

I refreshed the paint in the living room last year with a fresh coat of bright white, and it really brought the space together. I’m obsessed with how bright the room is now.

I loved the openness to our living room, so I opted to not have a coffee table and to add Moroccan poufs instead. I’m not sure how long that will last, but I love how wide the space is for activities. It’s so nice to do morning yoga on the rug before I start my day. I added a fiddle leaf fig tree to the bar cart corner, and it really filled out the space. They’re one of my favorite plants!

I love keeping inspiration books lying around to browse through, so I put a few favorites on top of the bar cart, like my favorite Slim Aarons photo book. I found this ‘Frontiers of Alcoholism’ book at a thrift store in Vegas last year, and I thought it was the perfect ironic addition to the bar cart. Hah! Its colors are perfect too! I got the media console from Target, and upgraded the knobs to these cute brass nobs for a bit more mid-century modern flare. It made such a difference! I wanted it to be all white, so I only used white books in the storage area, and hid all of the records, electronics and movies in the side with cabinets.
