Style File: Sunken Living Room

Split level homes always make me swoon. Sunken living rooms were such a vibe in the 70s, and I’d love to see this trend come back. I love the idea of a lower lounge space — a conversation pit that feels cozy and chill. Whether it’s a rounded sofa, or a built in concrete slab with cozy cushions this look is a showstopper. Dreaming about channeling this vibe in my own space one day… What do you think of this look?
