My Dining Room Reveal

I can’t believe I’ve never done a dining room tour! I’ve been trying to rework my dining space, and, though it’s *tiny* it feels like it’s coming together. A few months ago I swapped around the bar cabinet and table, and it made the space feel so much bigger. It’s a neutral, vacation vibe that makes me feel so relaxed while having coffee in the morning, or working from the dining table in the afternoon.

To start I filled the whole space with this jute rug to make it feel bigger than it actually it, and to make it feel like a “room” even though we have an open concept from our living room to dining and kitchen. I did a new gallery wall with this ocean print and this abstract print, along with this rattan eye for some natural texture. Then I added a vase with pampas grass for a natural feel. We have a ton of cocktail glasses, booze, and tiki mugs to store so I needed something spacious to hold all of those in our dining area. After searching for something big enough to no end I ended up going with the BESTA unit at IKEA. It has so much space, and lots of customization options. To add a bit more of a textured look I added this front from Pretty Pegs, along with custom knobs and legs. I love how it turned out!

On the other side of this lil nook we have this marble dining table, along with the comfiest pink velvet chairs. I used to have this amazing ocean print above my bed, but opted to move it down to the kitchen and it really fills out the wall. I’m all about giant art pieces, and this one really makes me feel like I’m on vacation.
