I still can’t believe it took us so long to get to New York. Since we had never been we really wanted to get a good feel for all of the areas. We decided to stay in two hotels: one in the city, and one in Brooklyn. While searching for where to stay in Brooklyn we excitedly came across The Hoxton and fell in love! It had snowed the entire week right before we arrived, and the hotel had basically everything we could need. We were more than happy to spend a few mornings and evenings hanging around the hotel. They have a great restaurant, bar, and coffee shop downstairs.

The interior did not disappoint. From the cutest bedspread to the lighting we both couldn’t get enough of the space. The view is an absolute dream. Don’t even get me started on this lounge area in the lobby. Can this be my living room already? Since it was so cold we didn’t make it up to the rooftop restaurant Summerly, but I’m still swooning over photos I’ve seen of that space!

Aside from the amazing design the hotel itself, the details were everything. Each night you can fill out a little door hanger and they will bring a “mini breakfast” to your door in the morning. I’m big on needing breakfast to get going, and I get hangry every time we travel because we have to get ready and all that jazz before heading to get breakfast. The Hoxton knows what’s up. So, each morning we had a little orange juice, allergy-friendly night soaked oats, and fruit to get our day going. It’s all in the details!
