Best Indoor Plants

One of the questions I get all of the time are how to keep my plants alive. I think so much of the reason my plants work is that they can live in an indoor area. Some plants just can’t thrive indoors. Ahem..succulents and cactus I’m looking at you. These are a few tried and true indoor plants you can actually keep alive.

Rubber tree. One of the easiest to keep alive! I love rubber trees because they can get so tall and feel substantial. and hardly need water. I have one by my bed that has hints of pink in it and it’s so cute. I just water them once a week and let them dry out between waterings and they stay happy.

Monstera. Besides being showstoppers, monsteras are one of the easiest plants to keep alive. They always tell you what’s going on: yellow leaves mean it needs more water, small leaves mean it needs more sun or fertilizer. Easy peasy.

Palms. I love a good palm! They can be so lush in your home, and they’re perfect with indoor sun. I’ve had the best luck with Kentia Palms and Parlor palms. And the tropical vibes they bring are just perfect.

Ivy. They look so cute hanging and are so simple. A regular watering and they will thrive in any indoor space.

Gold dust. I’m obsessed with the yellow spotted leaves on these guys, and they thrive in any room I put them in.

Dracaena. My oldest plants are all dracaenas. At this point I’m convinced they’ll never die. Theses babies are so simple, just keep them by a window and water once a week and they’re happy.
