Bedroom Idea: Coastal Meets Colorful

With every season I love to switch things up a bit and add a bit of seasonal flare to my space. I wanted to bring a coastal summer vibe to our bedroom, so I partnered with Walmart to add some easy and affordable coastal updates to our bedroom. When I think of coastal, I think of bright whites, blues and natural elements, but I wanted to incorporate a bit of color, of course, so I went with a coastal sunset vibe and added a bit of sunset oranges too. I’m sharing a mood board with some coastal-inspired goods to give you some ideas for your space too.

Walmart made it super easy to switch things up for the season with their shop by style collections. I browsed the coastal collection, and found some incredible pieces to switch things up without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for some affordable products take a look here. I was able to revamp the space in a really budget-friendly way. I’m really crushing on this pouf, and definitely want to use that on my next room update.

My go-to method to give a space more of a coastal vibe is to add natural elements like rattan and jute, as well as my favorite textures like linen and fringe throw pillows. All the space needed was a quick pillow swap with these fringed blue pillows (for under $13!), a jute rug, and this gorgeous storage basket to bring the coastal vibes to the space. After swapping out a few throw pillows, a rug, and storage baskets my space felt entirely new again.

Tip: Add in some textures with jute poufs or rattan storage to add a nautical look.
